For those of us who just don't exactly know what LOL! or n/t means -- here's your guide!  You'll be talking it up with the best of them soon enough.  Please note that I did not add all of the known emoticons because it becomes VERY confusing and unnecessary.  The emoticons and shorthand below is a summary of the most commonly used terms on the Yes They're Fake! message boards.  We don't want new people or computer novices coming on the site and being completely confused and leaving, do we?  At one point I didn't even know how to send email so don't be embarrassed -- we ALL had to ask once upon a time!

Plastic Surgery-Specific Shorthand
On our message boards you may see many abbreviations for procedures or techniques regarding plastic surgery or non-invasive procedures. I have compiled a list of these frequently used terms for your convenience so you don't feel as if we are speaking a foreign language.

Internet Shorthand
These can be either upper or lower case and although many of these are not used, some of them are used quite frequently.  The terms used most frequently on the YTF! chat room or boards are in bold purple.  There are many, many more but confusion is abundant and we don't want that.  Simplicity is best.
